A lovely self catering cottage with a summerhouse, comfortably sleeping 4-6 in a country setting with only a short drive or walk from the historic village of Culross

The cottage is ideal for family holidays and short breaks with a fantastic location on a working farm. The village of Culross is less than a mile away. The cottage has stunning open views over farmland, onto the hills and mountains beyond. The cottage is perfectly located to just sit back and relax or to enjoy many outdoor activities, such as walking, cycling or horse riding.

If you wish to explore further afield, Edinburgh, Perth, Glasgow, Stirling and St Andrews are all under an hour away by car or rail. We have excellent road links, with easy access to the motorways.

Pets are welcome by arrangement. There are many places to walk and explore with your dogs in the area with the Devilla Forest on our doorstep as well as access to the network of walkways, cycleways and bridlepaths.

All accommodation is on one level, wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the rear door, private garden, plenty of parking space and Wi-fi throughout, it is ideal for everyone.

WOW! Just wow...... what an amazing place to stay. We arrived late a night and couldn't believe how gorgeous the cottage is insdie, and then we woke up to the most fantastic views - the cherry on the cake!!! (Just STUNNING). Such a fab area - so much to see and do - and then great to return to relax in this wonderful cottage. Wonderful walks for the dogs, lots of history. Can't wait to come back!

We found the cottage very homely and comfortable and had everything you needed, Audrey was very welcoming and helpful. The information pack was one of the best that we have seen, the cottage is in a good location, Culross is a charming place to visit and is so near. The local pub serves good food with good quality veg. We visited the Falkirk wheel and the kelpies which were magnificent, highly recommend this cottage for its comfort views and location.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, which accommodates twin beds that can be linked together to form super king sized beds, giving the flexibility of the rooms being either twin or double rooms. A further 2 guests can be accommodated by making use of a double sofa bed in the living room. A cot and camp bed can be added to accommodate extra guests if required. Beds freshly made up with cotton linen for your arrival. Both bedrooms have dressing tables, hairdryers and storage facilities.

The garden to the front of the cottage has a lawn area surrounded by a hedge, with a seating area to catch the morning sun. To the rear of the cottage there is a secure garden for children to play in, while you relax in the summerhouse and enjoy the countryside views. Family meals can be enjoyed by making use of the bbq and outdoor dining area.

The cottage can be rented for the weekend of the wedding. The cottage is made available from 10am on the day prior to the wedding until 4pm the day after the wedding which coincides with the access times to the wedding venue during the 3 day hire of the venue. The cottage is a lovely setting for the bride/groom to get ready on the day of the wedding and to relax with the bridal party on the eve of the wedding, as well as providing a relaxing retreat for the happy couple on the wedding night.
